Muggel - Düsseldorf

Why do I go back time and again to Muggel only to be treated like I am an annoying interference in the waiter’s waitress’ evening? I’m really sorry if I hope to be asked if I would like a drink within the first after I sit down. I also apologize if I would like to be offered a menu instead of having to ask for it. And I am ashamed that I asked for another beer after you walked past my empty glass times. Where did the Muggel of former times go? importantly where did the great team go? Muggel is rapidly becoming a glorified pick up joint with staff who make you feel unwelcome. I’ve had enough

Very nice place to eat great food, mostly local upscale people , food choice is german but modern, great quality, nice outside terrace with heaters do year round open , when in Dusseldorf a must

We had lunch there twice and breakfast once. All of them were very tasty, portions are rather big. It worth booking in advance for the place is busy

For those looking for breakfast of eggs, fresh juice and coffee, or a great pancake this is the place

We went there on a public holiday without a reservation. But we were early enough to squeeze in before other people got the place where we were allowed to sit and dine. The staff didn't expect so many people coming by, so they were shortstaffed...but within a quarter of an hour they got an additional waiter. Even with this amount of guests they worked pretty fast, so we could finished within an hour to be ready in time for the next guests to come. I've had a Muggel Sandwich which was really delicious and was more than I've expected. it to be. My partner ordered scrambled eggs and a breadroll in addition. He was happy with his meal too. Our experience was positive and surely we'll go there once more
