Cafe Cakes - Düsseldorf

The interieur of caffe in vintage style with graffiti frida kahlo and rapper biggie smalls is very cool. on the menu there is a vegan breakfast and in the cake display was only a vegan cake (lemon cake). the vegan breakfast plate was rich and filled with a bit grilled sweet, cousin salat, a flafel, olive, jam, spreads and cold cuts. I just thought it was a bit shy that the offered spreads and cold cuts were bought products that I immediately recognized and the served pieces brot was mainly pure white. for the relatiw high price I would like to have something like a homemade spread or brot. due to the limited vegan selection and the high prices only 3 stars.

Set on this busy high street this new café looks welcoming from the outside and delivers on the inside. We arrived around 7pm and had missed the choice of the vegan cheesecake (presumably sold out earlier in the day) so we opted to share the vegan orange cake. It was really moist and tasted of orange! I had the pink rose latte and it was equally good. The vegan set breakfast looks expensive but I will certainly be coming back to try it. The decor is tasteful and modern. I recommend giving this place a try.

The vegan breakfast is delicious, but the 15 euro is not worth it. otherwise the vegan selection is very small. the coffee tastes good. updated from the previous review to 2022-05-10

Not many vegan options, unsightly atmosphere

Had a delicious vegan breakfast great selection on my teller with a yummie pink rosenlatte. the staff was also very friendly and the cake looked fantastic. can really recommend!
