Rialto - Duesseldorf

After an evening strolling around Düsseldorf we got hungry and decided to go for a pizza. Their outdoor seating, despite being on a busy alley, looked quite inviting. Service was great, their staff was attentive and helpful. We ordered two pizzas, they arrived quickly. Now, don‘t expect too much, the were ok but nothing more. They did the deed, we left full but it wasn’t the best pizza we ever had, not even close. If you are hungry, and aren‘t too picky, go for it. If you expect more, keep walking.

The previous time I came here (roughly one year ago? , prices for many mini-pizzas were between 5 and 6 euros, e.g. for a mini-pizza salami. Now it is 8 euros!!! That is up 50%, while actual inflation in Germany is again below 10%. And I can assure you that Rialto's pizza has neither become any better nor any bigger. Do yourself a favour and try it somewhere else. Some pizzerias nearby are still provinding deals (e.g. around the corner Arlecchino's 7 euros pizza and a drink offer from 12.00 to 18.00 , and outside of the Altstadt you get far better offers anyway (Pizzeria Romantica, Duesselthaler Str. is exceptional value for money! .

So, as pizza fan i can strongly recommend especially mini pizzas there. It costs nothing and tastes amazing! I mean since 2016have eaten a lot of pizzas with different prices (5/10/15/20), but these small pizzas are the best!
