We were here for the third time today. The charming staff, Delia, has excellent and politely advised us. We were only allowed to test the recommended wine. The bottle was ice-cooled by the local wine cellar. Very recommended, nice and good service.
I was here today as part of Mr. Düsseldorf's secret dinner. By the way, my first visit to Andreasquartier, where I knew for years as a courthouse and whose new building I was interested in. It has become beautiful and the café is also beautiful in one of the old buildings. Greatly designed, with partly very high rooms with brickwork, but also glazed Mediterranean terraces in the courtyard. It's true. The staff was at this event with 75 guests in the Zack and always friendly. For food: There was a 3-course menu with salad with goat cheese as an appetizer, then duck lobe with roasted potatoes and finally mousse au chocolat. It's delicious. No complete revelation, but this is not possible in perfection with such a dinner, in which 75 guests are constantly delivered at the same time. Portions so I came home well saturated. At the price-performance ratio I can say little, the dinner was already paid in advance, that was of course great. The wines ordered were very good. I had 1 glass for every walk, very tasty from the importing white wine to the subsequent dessert wine. With a price of 25€, the glass of white wine was offered for 7€, you get both qualitatively and quantitatively a good equivalent. Conclusion: Not perfect, but absolutely recommended and not too high despite the situation. I like to test it again in detail and can also introduce myself to 5 stars.
Nice furnishings and a very nice service. The olives were the best I had eaten in Germany for a long time. Then I ordered a salad Niçoise. I thought he'd make me sick. Unfortunately not. He was very good and with to the point garden (less) fresh tuna. Good to know for the next time. Then I needed another cheese plate. Only a variety of French beer is offered, but a sufficient number of bottled beers. I can't say anything about wine. The water bottles are definitely too small with 0.5l.
