This chippy is perfect. eating is consistently excellent. at this opportunity shattered chips, pukka pie spices and gravy with loads of salt and vinegar. from the 1st chip to the last bite of cake I was completely immersed in culinary pleasure, the chips are exquisite being fluffy and white inside and golden and crispy outside. the pukka pea (steak and niere) was sufficient for its content, but wrapped in a heavy, moist, glorious pastry. I took off the damp cake lid and wrapped it around the sausage and then dipped it into the gravur and oh my god, which is an exciting beginning of the meal. only luck! the winery only makes her mouthwater. then the engraved loaded chips dipped into the cake and went to serious business. finished with the pier case filled with the last few gravy soaked chips. absolutely wonderful with a perfect part. I felt completely satisfied, but not advised. but would not have eaten another chip. perfect chippy, great people. eat cooked with passion love it!

This chip shop is the worst I’ve ever visited there’s 2 members of staff that just don’t listen. By the time you get home after the 20 minute wait that they don’t tell you about the orders wrong and you’re left disappointed. Visit 1: I...usually go to a different chip shop but as this chippy is a little closer I thought I’d give them a try. I ordered a large fish and chips. I told the member of staff not too many chips and salt and vinegar. I got home enough chips to feed 5 people no salt and vinegar oh it was horrible. Very disappointed Visit 2: Friday night fish chips. The traffic was bad on the way to my usual chippy so I thought I’d give them another try was served by a youngish guy I ordered a kiddies meal and fish chips had to wait 20 mins and when I pulled the guy up on the fact he didn’t tell me it was going to take so long he got rude telling me he told me. If I knew I’d have to wait 20 mins for fish a chips on Friday night I would’ve changed my order or gone else where. Get all the way home AGAIN the order is wrong. Mini fish and chips and the fish tasted like it had been sitting there all day. i wouldn’t mind but I saw fresh fish coming out the fryer so I assumed that was what I was waiting all that time for. Disappointing!!! There won’t be a third time

We travel to priory chippy every week even though we have several chipshops closer by. the reason....their fish!!!! Its by far the best fish around. The quality, size and taste is amazing xx

Visit here regularly. Quality of food is consistently good. The staff are friendly. Definitely recommend
