I went to firebrands with my friend this afternoon. I ordered the soup, salad and sandwich combo for 12$. The soup was a turkey noodle and it was the saltiest tasting soup I've ever eaten. For a salad, I ordered the Caesar and it was actually really delicious. For my main dish, I ordered fish and chips and it was absolutely disgusting. The fish was overcooked with a hard exterior. I will never be ordering that again if I go there to eat. The drinks i ordered were just alright. I had a chocolate espresso martini that didn't have enough alcohol in it and a strawberry margarita that was pretty good. My best friend came with me and she also didn't enjoy her food very much. She ordered a Caesar salad also, but the lettuce in hers was wilted and disgusting looking. She couldn't eat it. The clam chowder she had was delicious, however. She had also ordered her daughter mac and cheese and they served kraft mac and cheese which is absolutely disgusting in my opinion. They charged way too much for kraft that you can make at home. Very disappointed.
So took over an hour with a not so busy dining area…. The chicken sandwich my husband got was burnt and boxed wine was not a way to go. Fish and chips was good service was good, food was the only issue the flatbread was not worth it nor the pasta
We came on easter just for a couple apps and the deviled eggs they had on special for the day. The food was great. We had the big mac egg rolls and maple bacon bourbon chicken tenders for apps. Service was a little slow so couldnt tell if it was because it was a holiday but from reading the reviews it seems to be a normal thing. I would definitely go back and try one of their many dinner dishes! Prices are average for the area. Think they just need more staff
The food was absolutely disgusting, and all I ordered was a burger with bacon. Not exactly something one could easily screw up, but they managed to do it. I could get over the fact that they say it’s hand pressed beef when they’re clearly serving a frozen patty, but bacon was inedible and a hair off of being raw. The waitress was nice but not enough to offset the fact that the food could get someone really sick.
