Duck Deli

Duck Deli such a cute, fun, little sandwich shop! You order inside, then if you choose to eat at the restaurant, there's cute picnic tables outside to sit at, then the servers bring out your food. Super fast, big portions, and all reasonably priced! Oh, and they have a super cute giftshop inside! Will be returning next time we are in Duck!

As you enter there are signs everywhere that say open til 9:00pm. We arrived at 7:30 pm, so no problem for us. Nice enough staff. You order inside at the counter but can only sit outside at old picnic tables. If raining, not sure what can be done. They brought the food out in takeout containers and a bag. Bacon cheeseburger was very good. The Loco Tacos are fried or blackened mahi, slaw, pico and tartare sauce. Each taco had just one nugget of mahi and maybe a tablespoon of slaw. Pretty skimpy for $6+ . The overall taste was good, but odd since pico and tartare sauce are not common together. Onion rings were very good and the potato salad decent enough. Getting back to all those signs that the close at 9:00. Promptly at 8:00pm the cook locked the door back into the building and by 8:08pm they were closed. Access to the restrooms was locked up. There is also an ice cream shack they run which stayed open. That seemed very popular. I probably will not go back but others should give it a try, at least once.

BBQ was delicious. AWESOME JOB!!! Enjoyed the Baked Beans and Cole Slaw as well. Highly recommend for lunch or dinner. Parking: Parking is a little tight. Parking places back out into the street, just be careful.

Excellent food! Friendly employees. Nice atmosphere.

Order the blackened fish taco platter, a chicken sandwich and a hotdog. Only complaint was the hotdog was the size of one you'd get in a pack of 8 at the store and it cost $8 for a single hotdog and a bag of chips. Everything else was very good
