We had a terrible experience by far the worst restaurant experience I have ever had in my life. We had our food which was okay then when paying the check we asked for a local discount because we are locals. An extremely rude manager refused then allowed our request and changed why we couldn’t get the discount several times. We had gotten this discount just the day before for reference. We spoke for about 3 minutes after paying the check before being told they had another reservation and needed us to leave immediately. Fun fact: This restaurant doesn’t do reservations try to get one online or call them they do not offer them. Being lied to after spending 200+ dollars is very disheartening. This establishment was our favorite restaurant we now plan to never return.
Went there with just some appetizers in mind for a brief lunch. Per the waiter we were talked into getting the “chefs plate” or “special” which is a mix of different starters maybe a entree’ throwed in, with desserts (small donuts). We told him what we were interested in he led us to believe that that would be the best option which would include most of what we had in mind. So we went with it. After receiving it we were very surprised there wasn’t much included we were interested in. One person in our group didn’t really like seafood, had asked previously if there was any non seafood options included we got a “oh for sure, no worries”. The “board” we received only included a small few chicken tacos, one of which had a paper wrapper in it (that we didn’t mention, everyone makes mistakes) The rest of the seafood included was very small portioned; but tasty. However when we brought up the lack of non seafood option for the person, they did throw in a extra beef wrap “at no cost” however when we received the bill it was $30 a person which is their normal price for “the special”. So for the 4 of us, we paid $120 for some appetizers in which most of us were still rather hungry when we left. The best part of the special was the desert, which was just some donuts dipped in chocolate. Not saying the food wasn’t good, but for the price, quality of food there’s a lot more affordable options in the area for a quick appetizer. Or for sure don’t get the “special” without asking the price since it’s something they don’t print on the menu. Could be really good for some people, but now it is a big joke for our group that we spent $120 on such a small portion of non full-filling appetizers. Probably not going to return. Also there was some people/staff in the restaurant who were not following proper Covid-19 precautions. This was my experience feel free to try yourself!
