Tony Roma's - Dubuque

I had a great experience at this restaurant. I ordered a full rack of ribs with sweet potato fries, and I was pleasantly surprised. I expected the fries to be soft, but they turned out to be crispy and had a delicious flavor I had never tasted before. The ribs were huge—I even took half of them home for later in the week! They were tender and full of flavor, literally falling off the bone. We sat outside and enjoyed a lovely view of the river.

One of our two favorite spots in town! It offers a beautiful river view, outdoor dining (often with live music), and excellent food and service. Highly recommended!

The food and drinks were quite enjoyable, and I had a great time overall. The only problem I encountered was with the bill. We requested the waitress to split our checks, which she did. However, when I asked her to divide the cost of my main dish and dessert between me and one of my coworkers since we shared them, she didn’t do that. I didn’t want to make a fuss, so I just covered the cost of both. I suppose I’ll have to be more specific next time.

We were seated at the same time as another family with us. They ate and left before we got our food. I wanted another drink but the waitress never came back. I went to the bar to get one, but the bartender ignored me for 5 minutes even though there was only 6 people sitting there. I just went back to my table.

That was just okay. the table at which they sat at us had the sun in the window and the shadow pulled little protection. this window should have a shadow that blocks the sun. our server was sweet, but a little bit above the tip and we had to remember them for those who are required like a high chair. normally love this restaurant : .
