I typically check any hotel room I stay in before bringing in my belongings bed was clean, linens smelt clean and fresh and the floor in the bathroom was clean. It's not a fancy place AT ALL and it's quite dated, but it's a place to stay. Check in was just fine and pretty quick. Truly no complaints I'd stay here again:)Nearby activities: Maquoketa Caves brought me to town from WI. Free to enter and a pretty cool place to explore. Hotel had free entertainment which is cool. Rain kept me from checking out the pool areaFood drinks: Having an on site restaurant/ bar is nice. Had a cheap pizza to hold me over and it was just fine
Nice and quiet, the receptionist was kind and breakfast was nothing advanced. The bar was a fun visit where the service was great. Would definitely recommend it.Rooms: 4/5
Room had strange odor and decor very dated. Bathroom had a very noisy and inefficient toilet with very low height hard for seniors to use without grab bars. Road noise carried into room. Sidewalks and pavement were uneven and pot holes. Price was reasonable by not the quality expected from Wyndham property.
A great outside patio with a bar. You could get something to eat at the bar until 10:00pm. Nice pool area. The rooms need to be updated. The was very reasonable. There was a live band outside until 6pm. Pretty awesome!!Rooms: 3/5
From Google maps, it might tell you that you are here on Dodge St, but you need to take the exit and turn right, right away. It's kinda hidden. But, rooms are quiet and clean. Bed and pillows were comfy. Definitely recommendRooms: For a two star hotel, the rooms are impeccably clean and quietNearby activities: They have free breakfast in the morning. There's a restaurant and bar. They were having live music the night I stayed.Safety: It felt very safeWalkability: You could walk downtown from here. Google said it was a mile to the winery, but it seems farther. It's also close to Kennedy MallFood drinks: The breakfast is simple continental with choices of fruit, bagels, yogurt, cereal, coffee, juice, and milk. I didn't take part in the dinner
