The Depot At Doolittle's - Dubois

I won a stay here over a year ago but due to Covid I was unable to use it until now. What a treat! The Presidential car is beautiful and so cool to stay in! The food, the beer, the service…everything was top notch! Thank you Tom and Ken for bending over backwards to make our stay so enjoyable!

The customer service was fantastic. We went to the brewery and pizza car and everybody was extremely accommodating and friendly. Good beer and good food.

We arrived Friday afternoon and were meet by Tom. Very friendly and suggested we might like to make a dinner reservation in the Dining Car for dinner. We did then were shown to the Presidential train car which was our room. So beautiful!! It was Teddy Roosevelt’s campaign train car. All original furnishings. It really was like going back in time. They added to room at the front with all new bathrooms. Really nice, they recreated the charm of the train car. Our dinner at the dining car was delicious. We had a private booth and met Lori. She was delightful and so knowledgeable about the history. Next day we had ice cream at Doolittles ice cream car. Played mini golf and ended up at the Boxcar Brewery. Great beer, live music, yummy homemade pretzels and one of the best pizzas. Everything we needed was there on the property. Left Sunday morning after a wonderful weekend!! We will definitely go back! 2 hrs from Pittsburgh and it is a untapped treasure!!

The depot diner car is currently closed without planned reopening. it was the most beautiful restaurant of the collection.

Great place to go to eat and try some new brews. It's also a great place to take your train and dino loving kiddos!
