I was shopping at Daiso nearby, and was looking for lunch. The store has a sign MK noodle, so I parked and looked for the number of the store. It is near Ranch 99. Unfamiliar with the menu and the IPad ordering system, yup, I am old , the young gentleman came to help me. The drinks are no problem, but the food menu is very small, and they don't have noodles or dumplings anymore...so I settled for popcorn chicken, fried tofu, and sesame seeds balls. The drinks are ok, the foods are ok, but I bumped up from 3 stars to 4 because the gentleman was helpful, and the merchandises here are oozing of cuteness: the cups have a bunny design, the tumbler has a bunny sitting with floating snow? Or cherry blossoms? Whatever, I got one
As everyone has added here to their post, the place still says Noodle restaurant on it's sign. I have to say, when I walked in, it was a cute ambiance and obvious there was still some work to be done. The staff who greeted me was very friendly and took his time to answer my questions. However, the boba was just not up to par for me. It may have been what I got but I have gotten it that way before and it tasted great. The boba was chewy (I would just get grass jelly next time) and I asked for cheese cream on top and I think there was just too much going on with my drink and it became very thick. I may give this place another try since it's right next to my office, but I wasn't satisfied the first time :
I got the osmanthus oolong milk tea with light ice and it came out perfectly! The sweetness level didn’t have adjustments but it came out just right, not too sweet. The flavor from the tea and the edible tea leaves they put inside add a little texture as well! Would definitely come back to try other drinks, also the mascot is super cute!
First of all, don't look for Ume Tea when you're going to the store. It says Ume in bright pink neon lights inside but on the outside, it still says it's a noodle shop. It's location is between the Ranch 99 and the cleaners. Plenty of parking in that lot but no, no more noodles. I ordered through TeaPass which was actually more expensive than ordering directly in store. When you walk in, you put your order in through a kiosk and then you wait. They put the finished orders on a round table to the left of the ordering kiosk. I ordered the milk tea with pudding and red bean. Not much sweetness or ice and they did it perfectly. The mild spicy of the popcorn chicken was spicier than expected but I did enjoy that it was actual chicken pieces and tasted fresh and crispy. I would go back again and just order in store.
