The Avenue Steak Tavern - Dublin

Came in on a Tuesday night based on a recommendation from a friend. The place did not disappoint! Food was delicious, service was fast, and the ambiance was traditional steak house! Started with a glass of the Post Beam cab. Then had a Caesar salad which was excellent, followed by the ribeye and sautéed mushrooms. When the salad came out, the waiter also brought dinner rolls fresh from the oven. Trying not to eat bread, but when these singe your lips because they are so warm, you've got to! The Caesar salad was perfectly sized and included with the entre, as were the sautéed mushrooms, a nice change of pace from other steak joints. The ribeye was excellent. I've had a better cut of meat, as this one was a scooch tough, but the flavor was second to none! Not sure I'll ever make a steak at home again without buttering it before plating it. Waiter gave me a bottle of their signature steak seasoning and suggested I put it on everything, including the bread. That sounded odd, but I obliged and was very pleased. The steak didn't need anything else, but it helped make the mushrooms jump off the plate. I was in and out in just over 30 minutes. Saw some kickass desserts come out while I was eating which I will have to try next time!

My fiancé brought me here for a special date night. The food tastes amazing and is cooked perfectly. My fiancé doesn’t eat shrimp, but I loved the shrimp appetizer. My steak was cooked exactly the way I like it. They recommended a wine that went great with the meal. They have high quality food and service Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner

This place is incredible! The prices may feel intimidating but, GET THE STEAK! I went on a Friday, had a reservation at 5pm but was seated when I arrived a little early. You don't have have dress up by any means. My server, Andy, was attentive, knowledgeable, and so kind. Only thing I would warn is that it does get kind of loud in there because it's usually busy. Truly lovely time, already made another reservation to bring a friend and cannot wait!

Sat on the patio. Very nice but very loud. Service was slow.

Perfect evening and dinner on the patio.We ordered from the happy hour menu and we love the steak bites!! I am a huge fan of oysters so I loved those as well. Spicy marg had the perfect amount of spice!!
