Asian Star Chinese Buffet - Dublin

Lovely food with a good choice on the menu. Always a consistent tasty food experience. Can be a little quiet when dining in. Suitable for familys, friends or couples. The restaurant is on the first floor over Scholar's Pub. Awkward for wheelchair users.

This isn't the fanciest of buffets I've seen, but I certainly don't think it deserves a one or two stars. We were greeted by very friendly servers and sat down at a booth immediately. I took a look around each buffet line before filling up my first plate. They have a good selection of different types of chicken all of which tasted great and had plenty of sauce. Some of the more typical American food containers were empty, like pizza and French fries, but who gets that at a Chinese buffet anyway?? I liked all of my items, but some of the chicken wasn't very warm. I get a little nervous about shrimp and fish at buffets because I don't know how long they've been sitting out, so I stayed away from it. My boyfriend enjoyed his meal too, although he thought the stuffed mushrooms weren't as fresh. The waitress tended to our table often and gave us the check with ease. I'd give this place a 3.5!

Small typical asian buffet. About 30 food items including fruits and snacks. Found bones in hibachi chicken (they didnt deboned properly). I wouldnt recommend this place for the price. Why I chose this place because I was craving chinese and I wanted little bit of everything and it was ready to grab.
