But when we said something about the breakfast issues hotel handled the issue very well, addressed it immediately, and could not have been more pleasant. Could have just been a bad meal one off. But I would say if you have a bad experience say something to the hotel manager as they clearly care about guests.
Haven't been for a while but this was always my favourite pre theatre stop in Dublin. Always accommodating and food is exceptional. Staff were great too and chefs willing to accommodate me. I remember once I couldn't decide between two starters so they gave me both!
I haven't been but the look of the food is so dry, it doesn't have any shine, i feel like pouring olive out on each dish as all seems steamed with no flavour. Apologies but if the marketing is not selling, it's difficult to feel attracted to it.
I stayed in the fitzwilliam and my husband and I had dinner and breakfast here. First of all the service was excellent on both occasions. Our dinner dining experience was really good. We had an amuse bouche, starters and a pre dinner course (all part of the 3 course meal) they were lovely. I ordered the cod for mains, it was a let down following the other courses. It was underwhelming. The fish was tasteless, the peas were really fresh and tasty and the few tiny potato pieces were also bland. If you want a proper side of veg or potatoes you have to order them extra. Desert again was good, my husbands coconut ice cream was so good. I'm There was only one other couple in the restaurant and as it is in an open space over the lobby, it lacked ambience. The buffet breakfast was great, there was a really big selection and the waiters were again so attentive. One tiny negative criticism is that the juices, smoothies and fruit weren't cold when we had breakfast.
Last week Patrick and I were invited to Citron at The Fitzwilliam Hotel Dublin to try their new Multi-Generational Menu. We had dined there not so long ago and thoroughly enjoyed our experience which you can read about here but with the introduction of Head Chef Philip Mahon’s Multi-Generational Menu we were excited to return.
