Our table was ready by the window and the decor was lovely. The waiting staff were attentive and very welcoming. The menu was beautiful with something for all tastes. I had smoked salmon, chicken fajitas and banoffi pie with a lovely glass of red. My husband had wings, lamb shank and banoffi. All beautifully presented and even though the restaurant was fully booked there was no wait time and the staff looked after us so well. We did have a pigsback voucher which made the meal ridiculously cheap but found the menu was very reasonably priced. We would both recommend it and will be back. Thank you
Great food, great value. Staff very friendly, lovely cosy spot ,had a view to the harbour.menu excellent, good wine menu.
Went with the family (2 adults, 2 kids) for a Sunday lunch. The restaurant is located on the upper floor of the pub. On entering the venue the atmosphere is nice and warm. There are a number of table some of which with a view on the outside park and harbor. It took very very long to get our food with a 3/4 full place. No staff member apologized for the delay nor gave any explanation. The quality of the long waited food was just average, nothing standing out in terms of taste. My Fish and chips had several bones! We had better food elsewhere in Howth so I don’t think we will visit this place again.
My husband and I availed of the meal deal and what a deal it was!! Absolutely brilliant service and speedy staff who provided a masterclass in how to keep their customers happy at all times with their seamless attention to detail. The food was well presented and generously portioned and nobody will leave this establishment hungry I can assure you of that! Their formula of serving several dishes but excellently delivered is certainly working for them and I for one can’t wait to return to sample both their brilliant food and ambience.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND Despite a pretty fair service and good fish and chips, nobody smiles at you, plates are dirty and you’ll have to pay 3€ for an espresso that is basically filter coffee poured into an espresso cup.
