Touzai - Dublin

The restaurant and the hotel were temporarily closed when we arrived, although we were able to book a table day in advance and receive a confirmation text from the open table. in front of the arrival. very disappointing.

We were very disappointed. we have made a reservation for 17:30 clock. we came up and waited for 10 minutes, and went around and wondering how long it will be until the restaurant is opened. we had to wait in mind as the only available staff was the reception and they visited the customers. when we were finally informed that the restaurant was closed for the evening, we tried to make reservations for the only other available restaurant in the opposite, alas opentable would not allow us to do this as we were listed as “Ding now at Touzai”, without the possibility of canceling the reservation. our dinner was ruined, and this could have been easily avoided by the restaurant by not passing the opentable reservation on a closed evening. very poor.

We were very disappointed. We made a reservation for 5:30 PM. We showed up and waited for 10 minutes, and went around asking how long it will be till the restaurant will open. We had to wait in line as the only available personnel was the front desk, and they were attending to customers. When we were finally informed that the restaurant was closed for the evening, we tried to make reservations to the only other available restaurant in the area, alas OpenTable would not allow us to do that, as we were listed as “dining now at Touzai”, with no option to cancel the reservation. Our dinner was ruined, and this could have easily been avoided by the restaurant, by preventing the OpenTable reservation from happening on a closed evening. Very poor form.
