The Dalkey Duck, - Dublin

We walked in today, I wish I had taken pictures. the place is charming. extensive seating in the garden. the staff was warm, friendly and prompt. due to a system restart, our order was delayed, apologised, offered us free dessert. we had burgers, truffles and brownies with ice. absolutely divine. but max was the most charming part. definitiw will come back when our adventures bring us back to dalkey!

Great personal, beautiful bar and fabulous outdoor area for drinks in the sun! I would like to give her personal and the barman a special scream, because yesterday I will reunite with my lost sunglasses. I had left her at my earlier visit, which was a few weeks ago and when I called at the time when I said they were not handed in. When I was yesterday, I wondered if I was sure, and while there were no signs of them I could begin with, the barman came to me after 20mins with suns at my hand. They were a pretty expensive couple, so I really appreciate him looking over and beyond for them and they were back to me. he had finished his layer when I came in to ask his name, but I was told that his name is harry. please thank you again for harry!

I was there Thursday evening with 4 family members after we ordered our mains 1 persons meal came after about 10mins .25mins later no more food arrived so we inquired as to where the rest of the mains were to be told that the order was put in incorrectly and we would have to wait another 10 minutes!!!!. Nobody had checked or noticed that we had no food. Food was nice when it eventually arrived but very disappointing service. 1st time there because we heard good reports about the place. Not so sure.
