The Carpenter - Dublin

Must say the service was superb and so attentive. No language problems at all. The beverage was top class and served with a smile and so courteous. We had food and my friends had chicken curry and also beef stew and I had Fish and Chips withe pureed peas and tartare sauce. The food was very good and to be recommended and very good value. We will be back. My friends enjoyed the visit also and we had our own table and social space.

This pub/restaurant is run very efficiently.All staff wearing visor/masks.We are immediately accompanied to our table.Service is friendly and prompt.2 Steaks were judged to be excellent.I had Wolfish which was not disimiliar to other white fish and was top class.Served with spinach and carrot/turnip puree,it was delicious.My wife chose fish chips which was excellent.The staff go the extra mile to ensure you are safe and look after your every need.Well worth a visit.

My family have been to the Carpenter pub , since lockdown for lunch on 2 occasions. Contact tracing in place ,2 metre distancing in place ,no bar service , screens at the bar counters . All in line with health recommendations in place. Food very good and hugh portions Great to see our local open again, and hope the wet pubs will open soon. Thank u to all staff

Very bad experience with one member of staff who refused us food without drinks in a rude and obnoxious manner and we were all of legal age. Will not be returning !

Last here in August last year. It’s very reliable and serves very good food at reasonable prices. The extensive off license allows diners to buy good wines at good prices despite understandable corkage charge. We had a super waitress too. They still cater well for allergies
