Staple Foods is a great spot for lunch in the Grand Canal Dock area. Many of their dishes, including pastas and hot pots, are either vegan or can be made vegan, and the staff were extremely friendly.

Honestly, I believe they can improve. The meal did not meet expectations, especially in a city with limited options for vegan diners. The Mexican salad lacked flavor and the guacamole was unimpressive. The quinoa salad had minimal quinoa. Despite this disappointing experience, I may consider giving them another chance, assuming it was just an off day. It's worth noting that they do not serve alcohol before 5 pm, but they offer vegan beer options after that time, making them one of the few pubs in the city center to do so.
