Shovelhead Pizza - Dublin

The pizza for takeout is excellent, they offer a discount on your first online order. The quality and price are great.

I don't order take away pizza often. But when I do Shovelhead is the place for me. One of the best ones in Dublin and really interesting flavour combinations too.

The to-go pizza is consistently disgustingly soggy. It is completely undercooked and falls apart when picked up. It is inedible and truly terrible. Extremely disappointing as this used to be the top pizza spot in town, but it is clear that the quality has greatly declined while prices have gone up.

Tried this place for the first time. Ordered margarita and four cheese pizza. I must say the tomato base and crust was very good. It is an affordable pizza place atleast in DunLaoghaire where pizza is minimum 14-15€ and their Wednesday deal is decent too.

Pity, because it had all the hallmarks of a decent pizza place until we we left waiting 1hour and 30 min for 3 cold pizzas, at €48 and offered a drink as compensation, which I politely refused. Wouldn't recommend.
