We had a delicious meal here last Saturday night. I lived in London for 10 years and have been disappointed by the irish standards for Indian food as I have found them bland and too westernized. I have tried that well known Indian on the coast in clontarf and we both found it terribly bland and not authentic. This is only the 2nd place in dublin i would rate truly authetic. The staff were lovely, service a bit slow so allow for that but perfection takes time! Will definitely be back!
A birthday celebration with friends. Service qasveey slow as they were busy
The Food Safety Authority of Ireland served a closure order on this restaurant in summer, 2019. Go there at your peril, but at least you know.
We 've been going there for years and love the food. We knew the previous staff who were very friendly, but the young waiter in there last night was very strange, which tainted the experience. If something wasn 't available he would say 'no you can 't have that ' and he kept calling the three of us (aged 20-64) 'girls '. We all felt uncomfortable throughout the meal because of his presence. I 've read on here that it 's under new management which makes sense.
