Mcneill's Of Howth - Dublin

Poor quality of food. have chicken wings for starters and they were of old chickens (probably frozen) with dark chew meat. chicken tagliatelle (which uses spaghetti and not tagliatelle) was completely tasteless. my man had fish and chips, which seemed like they were cooked from frozen. terrible eating experience. would expect more from a restaurant in howth.

A little quieter than at the sea. personal very pleasant and attentive, nice eating and fresh fish.

We stayed there between Friday 23rd March and Monday 26th March, I had 1 room and my sister and her chap had another room. The rooms were exceptionally clean and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable so a good night's sleep was had. McNeills pub is lovely, the food was delicious and the staff extremely friendly. Will I stay again .... You bet I will :

We absolutely loved our stay at McNeill's. It was the perfect place for an overnight stay. We walked the cliff walk and enjoyed the beauty of Howth. In the evening we listened to live music with a group of regulars that made us feel right at home. Whether you need a place to stay or a meal or a pint, McNeill's should be on your places to visit while in Howth.
