Mcdonald's - Dublin

Find some of the other reviews odd, as this store is closed the last 4 weeks or so! Anyways will pop in for a coffee when they are back open

Very nice burgers, also very nice staff. I'm a student who's going to the student dinner. Since I don't drink much carbonated drinks, they informed that instead of coldrink you can also have a coffee in the same 5 euros student meal. They helped me to choose my burger according to my taste also coffee in the same amount.

I'm not a fan of the style of this McDonald. They are pressed on order by a kiosk (not the only option) and the touchscreens are not very appealing. After ordering, you need to wait longer for your food than I feel in most other McDonald's. Worse is that I've been there a few times, it wasn't even busy. The seat is limited, but there are some outside seats. UPDATE: The second time in a row they had no chocolate milk shakes stop the world I want to get out. On a more serious note, on my last visit the ad said that 6 orders are ready for the collection. I waited another 5 minutes until my order is actually available for the collection. Mine was the first to know how long the other customers waited. On the way out, we couldn't fit our garbage into the bins as they were full of the bride and piled garbage up.

Cleaning the tables would go a long way. Unfortunately, the place was dirty and that was only about an hour after opening. There was what I hope was ketchup on one of the seats and the table I sat on had someone hanging the hair on the table under different other dirt. I felt the place was very unhygienic. Waited a good time for the food, but as soon as I got it, it was good, apart from the waiting staff that brought the tray over and hardly put it on the table, it was suspended.

I've been in a lot of McDonalds over the country, from ones in the Northside to Southside. Somehow this one is one of most effensive. Some how they where out of soft drinks... all of them, which is a pretty big nail in the coffin but the store was also not clean. Usually McDonalds are cleaned very well but not this branch it seems. This one has food all over the floor, almost every table had something under it, some tables had stuff on them. Seemed very understaffed, so comparing the service to other McDonalds I frequent, this one obviously isn't good, but passable at least. Despite a few people in line the food didn't take that long to be served, and wasn't all that bad, I have had worse. Food was warm but not too hot, and was cooked well. All in all rather disappointed by what Blackrock's McDonalds had to offer.
