Lord Mayor's Lounge - Dublin

What a marvelous Sunday afternoon High Tea! The fresh flowers, the gorgeous table setting, and the beautiful room were just the start. The scones, sandwiches, and exquisite desserts added up to the best High Tea we have ever experienced. Our favorites were the whiskey-cured smoked salmon and the rhubarb/chocolate/rose mousse. Husband was seated right under the Lord Mayor's portrait, so we had a wonderful view of the entire room. We truly felt like special guests!

Afternoon tea at The Shelbourne's Lord Mayor's Lounge was an absolute delight and an experience I will remember for years to come. We only had one day in Dublin on this leg of the trip, and I'm so glad we spent part of it here. The experience was so special and elegant the tea was incredibly delicious (do not miss the Irish Whiskey Cream tea! and the sandwiches/dessert items completely scrumptious. Additionally, the lounge is bright and beautiful the perfect place to spend an afternoon (you will not want to leave! . But while all of these things I mentioned were amazing, perhaps the best part of the afternoon tea was the kindness and friendliness of the staff. They make sure you constantly have tea and treats, and are very generous of spirit. In particular, Gabriela was so kind and attentive, and really made our experience stand out! I can't wait to come back to Dublin and visit here again. Thank you so much for such a magical experience!

I've just had an amazing afternoon tea at the Lord Mayor's Lounge! I requested gluten free and the options were delicious. The food and service are second to none, a very special thanks to Ellis and Alexander. We'll be back for sure!

A nice place to have afternoon tea. Service was attentive and excellent. Food was excellent. I Expressed interest in one of the teas they serve, and our waiter came back with a container for purchase. You need to make reservations in advance.

I wish to let everyone know that the Afternoon Tea in the Lord Mayor Lounge in the Shelbourne Hotel in Dublin, is the best we have ever had. I have had afternoon tea in many luxury hotels, but nothing compares to this. The service is first class and I would like to mention Laura who was so attentive to our table along with Imelda. I loved it so much that I have re-booked again on the 27th December. Thank you so much everyone for making my birthday.
