I am a great fun at their business, but I didn't know they had such a beautiful place in the ground. they can easily miss it!/ for beginners I had a suppe: an amazing prawn broth. very balanced and spicy and very complex. that was the winner for me, one of the best I had. the others have the fish and the sweet soup that were also good! large portions for a starter size. / on the main I got the bone and it was very succulent and fall of the bone! great work on the orange sauce, not oversweet. also the bark tried and it was so delicate that it could be cut with a spoon. great aromen on everything!Pairing with a glass of something beautiful wein makes this a special place to cool out! next time I will try the restaurant!
For wine lovers! more cozy place with a lot of living and great eating to combine with the weeps!/ I was here a few times before, but always for wein and some of their beautiful cheese and cured meat boards (which are beautiful by the way)! This time I actually got a full meal and it was a good quality!Ëbr/>First the weine naturally. we ordered the full Portuguese red wine selection (after all Portuguese have great weine) they had not the best weep they could get out of portugal, but it was not too bad. it was missing more douro tal weine. Finally, the Douro valley last year had on the top wines of the year, corresponding to wine Spectator./ for the starter I had the Mediterranean fish puppet. it was in the did quite good, with an intense tomatenaroma and the smokiness of the paprika. I also had the chance to taste the hot acidic tiger prawn broth and omg, that was the dish of the day! delicious broth. for moments I felt in Thailand! the sweet soup had a quite similar basic to the fish, but replaced the fish with the best and greens. very good. / for the first I have the cork cheek with maize and carrots. delicious wine. the bark cheek would melt on my mouth and the maic was extra smooth. also had the chance to get the bone into an orange sauce (classic and it was good, but not great in my opinion. the bone was delicious! krispy in the outside area, but really delicate in the inside area. but the soda was missing a little more balance (it was a bit sour in my opinion) and the potato was missing a bit more salt! I'm just here in a choir. / a good culinary experience and the best way to finish the week and start the weekend
Fallon Byrne is great for those who love with non-fruited eaters and those who love wine. You have a whole wine cellar in the basement and a full store on the ground floor while you enter. They have a fully vegan menu with many special cocktails, but it can be a little Pricy for the veggies they use. However, they are very accommodating and are a very stylish establishment.
The upper floor restaurant has a separate vegan menu with really nice seasonal options. Below in the wine cellar there are some vegan items on the menu, including a beautiful pasta dish. Both are good ways to meet with non- vegans. I often went to the wine cellar and got a place without / minimal waiting time. Above is a little more formal and I have always booked in advance. It is a better option for a special occasion. It is great to see more established restaurants with vegan menus in Dublin.
Beautiful option if you eat with non-vegans. for a special occasion. The food is good, but very small. There is a salad bar in the shop as well as some veggie options. Updated by previous review on 2019-04-29
