If I was you I would pass by this unhygienic branch and head to South Anne Street if you want to experience No finer diner All the staff could do with some training in their City West branch to learn a thing or two about hygiene and customer service. Hope this is not a sign of things to come with Eddie Rockets.
Went here to get some lunch with friends we waited 15 minutes to get an order in when it was relatively quiet it then got busy and we waited 35 minutes for 3 out of 6 people to receive their food they finished before the other 3 got their food and still our full order wasn’t completed. The burger I had my cold and I saw it sitting under the lights for 20 minutes, this was the case for all of our food and none of us enjoyed it. We will not be returning here and the service was unfriendly and there was a short and rude apology for the major delay.
I like Eddie Rocket but not this one, I got a burger this evening that was soggy and the cheese looked like it had melted some time ago and it was now hard and cold, it was clear that this burger has been sitting around for some time. I had to throw it away. Advise, don't go there.....
Food is average and expensive, better off going to a local chipper or Mickey D's , staff can be rude.
I thought it is on easy place to grab a bite when you are in the run. I chose the Southern Fried Chicken Tenders to go. The food was ready in five minutes. When I opened the box, it was six pieces of finger-sized strips of chicken with mayo and cajun sauce, nothing else. The chicken strips were dry and overcooked certainly not freshly made, just reheated. The perfect chicken fillet should be juicy and soft. Very small portion and overpriced. The place was nearly empty at 14:20 pm, so there is no excuse.
