Charlotte Quay - Dublin

We dined here before attending a show. Once seated we were offered a complimentary bottle of still or sparkling water. For our starters we had Kidney and Scotch egg. Very tasty! For mains, Duck and Riscotto. It was divine. Lastly our dessert was Raspberry mousse. Overall the atmosphere, staff and food was 10/10. We will certainly be retuning!

Food no more than average, and pricey...very noisy, couldn't talk to others at our table because of the loudness of other diners! Main dinner v disappointing, v fatty piece of steak, the sauce was only good thing on my plate, salad(was a few leaves)! Dessert below average...flat lemon cheescake(didn't taste of lemon) raspberry sorbet redeemed it somewhat... Overall, will never go there again! Very long 45 minute wait for main course and we were time pressured to make the theatre on time! Would not recommend to anyone. Second visit here, last Friday evening. Food was fabulous, had fantastic featherblade of beef and gorgeous chocolate mousse...this time I would recommend this restaurant! This experience was like the difference between night and day...way better! Great restaurant for a meal before attending the theatre or going to the Bord Gais! Would highly recommend it...well done to all the staff esp the chef/cook!

I spent a very enjoyable New Year's Eve at Charlotte Quay and had a great night out. From the moment we arrived, the staff was very friendly and professional, we started at the bar where we had a few well-made cocktails. Then moved into the restaurant section and had the tasting menu which was creative and delicious (They even made a special menu as my wife doesn't eat seafood) this was impressive and appreciated. I would also like to mention the location and the space which is classy and elegant but not stuffy, the perfect mix. Will be back again and recommend it to anyone who is after a classy experience with a high standard of food and drinks.

Charlotte Quay was the perfect place to host our family party last summer! The venue was beautiful, with great views over the water. The service was very friendly, professional and attentive, and the food was tasty. The staff and venue catered really well for our guests of all ages. Can't wait to go back for a proper sit-down meal!

FABULOUS! The food, cocktails, service and scenery is amazingggg Best meal in a long time ! Chefs are so accommodating and Mandy was so nice and gave incredible service!
