I recommend this place to anyone looking for a truly lively, authentic and hearty Italian in the quarter templebar.
I booked al vesuvio after reading some mixed reviews and was a little worried as I traveled to dublin for a weekend from Britain. but my worries were not founded as it was a great place to eat. the coworkers were very free, meal was excellent, atmospheric was brilliant. I will be back and use open table again to book.
A very enjoyable evening in Al Vesuvio. Starters were OK, pasta was fabulous and tiramisu was delicious! Great range of wines, very good value, great service. Would recommend!
Excellent service. Friendly waitstaff. Food and wine both delicious. Good value for money. Two negatives are that one lady guest was disappointed by the small portion of ravioli for the main course, and another was disappointed by the lack of coffee in the tiramisu. Overall good experience. 8/10.
We enjoyed a wonderful dinner here for my birthday. I give this place five stars across the board. Ambiance, food and service were all amazing!
