Wylde Bean - Dubbo

I got the larb huh it was ok, but the sauce was good 2 watery not strong enough the stronger fish sauce would have been so good

Visiting Dubbo from Sydney, my wife and I went to Wylde Bean last Monday night about 7pm. Being Monday, we expected not many customers, but this was not the case. Besides sit down customers, there was a steady stream of takeaway customers, most of whom...appeared to be regulars. I ordered Pad Thai Goong (Thai Fried Noodles with Prawns). A dish I often order to test the quality, etc. I was not disappointed. Perhaps because I have not had it for awhile but it was among the best that I have had in the past in Thailand. And most restaurants serve this this dish with minimal prawns. My order had 10 large juicy prawns (and this was inland Dubbo). My wife had Gai Tom Kha (Chilli Chicken Soup with Coconut Milk Galangal). Absolutely wonderful flavor. Highly recommended. Don't be afraid of the hot chili. The coconut milk neutralises the hot. The soup actually has a sweet flavor. She gave it a 9 rating which is high for her. Oh, I forgot. We started with Curry Puffs. These mostly come from a bulk supplier and you reheat. These were not. They were obviously made in the Wylde Bean kitchen. Great filling and puff. Our one regret. We returned to Sydney next day thus unable to taste more of their wonderful Thai food.

Wylde Bean cafe is a must visit. The takeaway lunch was amazing and big portion! Quick service and pay via their app and you accrue points!

Dined here recently and was certainly impressed with service and food (and price). Lunchtime special for $14.90 included a reasonable sized bowl of Tom Yum soup, and a large bowl of green chicken curry with rice. Fantastic flavours in both. Highly recommeded.

I had an excellent dining experience at this restaurant. The employee greeted me with a smile as soon as I walked in the door. I loved the ambiance, especially since I am a plant lover and enjoyed seeing plants around me while I ate. The place was clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone!
