Royal India Restobar - Dubbo

Wow! Decor, service, cutlery, food, wine (250ml pours), embossed cloth napkins, its all sensational. Some of our youth could learn a lot from the quality service provided by the young people in this restaurant. Courteous, helpful and polite. And in Dubbo?? Yep, it's the real deal. You must try one of the sizzling entree dishes. Extensive wine list. And above all, so very reasonably priced. But......no coffee...!? What the? But the authentic Indian tea was perfect!

There aren't enough synonyms to describe how outstanding this visit was. From the Restobar itself being so luxurious without being pretentious; to the staff being so friendly, courteous and patient with our indecision. The food was simply the best Indian cuisine I've had, the ice cream was beautiful and beautifully presented, and their wine selection (and drinks list in general) was extensive and well suited to the food. The price isn't nearly as expensive as one would think and by the end of the night you're all too happy to pay the bill. If I could give 6 out of 5 stars I definitely would and we will definitely be back for another delight dinner. Thank you to all the staff who made the night so wonderful, your work doesn't go unnoticed and is most appreciated. 10/10 would recommend to anyone, definitely the best new thing to come to Dubbo

Like some other reviewers we were surprised to find such a high quality rather up-market Indian restaurant in a country town. All our dishes were tasty and service was excellent. It was absolutely packed and lively on a freezing night in Dubbo.

Fairly new to Dubbo, this restaurant serves some of the best Indian food I have ever eaten. A large menu and you can pick the heat (spice) of your dish to suit. Great take away service too. Can't recommend enough.

My first visit to this restaurant- massive barn like interior with bar at the door and tables of every size laid out in an inviting way for solo, couples, families and big groups. Wait staff attentive. The vegetarian lentil meal at medium was perfect for me, with plain rice. Classic Indian bread fresh and tasty. The meat eaters, adults and children, enjoyed their chicken dishes. I would have liked to have my bread served when others received their first course, so will remember to ask for this next time.
