We had a group of 6 peoplr to fill our table and they were able to accommodate an extra 2. It's well worth the money we spent on each dish. We did family style. They had a Dj that was playing some energetic dinner music, thank goodness.
Responsible. Conscious. Delicious. That’s what Boca’s new menu offering is all about. Chef Mattheus Stinnissen has created an incredible line up of dishes this spring where vegetables take center stage, and skins, stems, seeds and ugly produce get a second chance. BOCA has always championed local ingredients but this time around they are also offering a dining experience with possibly the lowest carbon footprint in the nation all without compromising on taste! Sustainability as its very best. Do not miss out on this new menu! It is everything and then some!
Truffle fries were absolutely amazing. Food in general was great and well presented. The olives were nice for the first couple of bites but after a while the taste got very sickly and overwhelming. Even though it was a small bowl of olives, we could not finish it, I would not recommend or if you try it make sure there is a lot of people to share it with. The house wine was excellent and great quality!
Visited for their business lunch today. For 110 AED per person, we ordered 2 starters and 2 mains — chicken croquettes, chicken Caesar salad, Omani halibut, and Argentinian angus striploin. The portions are very generous, and they taste decent, but not extraordinary. Lacked a distinctive flavour to hook us in. However the HUEVOS ROTOS (with spicy chorizo) which we ordered off the a la carte menu was AMAZING. Super flavourful, potatoes were done well, fluffy on the inside and crispy crunchy on the outside, with generous servings of chorizo cold cuts. The PLUMS IN PORT cocktail was truly decadent: intense, slightly bitter, first sip which slowly mellows out into a gentle fruity sweetness. We loved it. Service was abrupt at the beginning but gradually turned warm with time. Food came out quickly, given that only less than half the tables were occupied at the time. Not sure if we would join their business lunch again, more likely to try their a la carte menu. Cheers.
Nice little place to have a drink in DIFC, recommend to sit in the patio. Music is not loud at all so you can talk to your friends, the staff are courteous. It’s a place where you feel welcome and appreciated as opposed to most other pretentious establishments in DIFC. Ps. Music coming from Socialista is awesome, you can listen to it from the patio.
