Sweet Nothings Cake Shop - Duarte

Sweet Nothings is a cute little cupcake/cake shop in Duarte. It was good to see that mom and pop cupcake shops still exist. They have a small private parking lot. Busy on weekend mornings due to order pick ups. Friendly service. Lots of flavor options. Mini Cupcake Flight $10.50 You get 6 mini cupcakes with this. All the ones were tried were moist and tender. Not overly sweet. I thought the flowers were frosting but it was hard candy. My favorite of what we tried was the cheesecake.

I ordered a cake less than a week away from my daughter's birthday party. The design was on point and the cake was really delicious. My daughter wanted something simple and dainty to go with her vintage rose theme. We ordered the lemon cake with cream cheese filling. It was not loaded with sugar and you can tell by the taste that it was made with the utmost quality.

I ordered a cake for my son's first birthday and I was blown away by how great the cake turned out from design to flavor/taste and quality. The ordering process was simple and straightforward. I called ahead and was given two options on how I could order the cake and get help with the design. When I picked up the cake, I also picked up some cupcakes which the family enjoyed that night. So delicious. This will be my go-to cake shop moving forward.
