Przekaż informację zwrotnąI enjoy festivals and fairs, so I am corrosive. A Friday evening during the walk on the Monrovia Night Fair I came across this small stand that sold Paletas from coolers. They had the most unique Popsicle (Paleta taste, brought by the authentic Mexican heritage of the owners. Oh, my God! They had guava taste picks, watermelon flavor, strawberry flavor, and many other traditional ones I don't know the names. They had real flaws in them. But get that....they had the taste I absolutely love.... Mango with Salsito (spicy like paprika). I buy freshly cut mango from street vendors all the time during the summer and I always get it with loads of lime and salsito. (Yes, my mouth flushes as I write. You're soo yummy! I couldn't imagine such popsicles, and if I bite into my first.... That's it... You had me at hell! In the summer I discovered this seller who has a branch in the target complex on Huntington near Mountain Ave, I had quite a lot of the spicy Mango EVERY Friday night. Then I decided to be adventurous and I tried the Spicy Watermelon. I think I found my crack! Paletas are $1.75 each. Totally worth because they are fresh with REAL ingredients. A definitive must when you are in the area; this place tastes pretty bad paletas (Mexical ice pops and gelato, in traditional Mexican flavors (rumcoco, horchata, chamoy beside more contemporary flavors like Key Limecake.
