Village Québécois D'antan

Charming Christmas village in December! I visited on the opening night of the 2022 holiday season. The beautiful lights created a festive atmosphere, and there were plenty of fun activities for kids to enjoy.

I go every Halloween, and it always turns out to be thrilling and enjoyable.

What a delightful Christmas village! I truly enjoyed exploring it.

I am an English speaker fluent in French. Although I didn't grasp all the phrases during my visit—like the mentions of the town crier, x-ray, and idea-inventing machine—I genuinely enjoyed the village atmosphere. The villagers stayed in character all day, roaming the village and engaging in charming storylines, such as the men returning from a 10-month logging trip and the weary pregnant wife awaiting her husband. The adventure kicks off with an immersive time machine tunnel, making it easy to spend hours there with family or friends of all ages. This year's experience was quite different from last year's, so I'm not sure if it was a unique (and positive) enhancement or if the village experience changes regularly.

It's a delightful spot to enjoy a fall afternoon with young children. We attended the special event "L'aventure des petits monstres," and my daughter had a fantastic experience. Although it was quite crowded, that was to be anticipated.
