Good Italian beef and bar tender was very personable. We will definitely make a point to stop next time we are in the area. Wish sled trails had better marking to get there. Bottle beer only.

Love this place. Great food and drinks, friendly owner and staff, and a low key north woods ambiance all combine to make this a required stop when we are ?up north.?

We recently enjoyed a fantastic meal at this restaurant. Everything was excellent, from the service to the food. The black bean soup was particularly delicious. I only wish we had more places like this back home, as we'd visit frequently. I also appreciated the warm farewell we received as we left; that's what customer service is all about.

This is a fantastic place for a lovely dinner. The bartender knows how to engage in lively discussions about football!

I absolutely love visiting Black Bear in the summer! The atmosphere is fantastic, the service is excellent, and the food is amazing! I've been ordering the Friday fish fry and spaghetti for 20 years, and I can't get enough of them!
