Tank Libby's - Drexel Hill

This restaurant is definitely worth the wait! We tried the breakfast tacos and a special Spanish omelet, both of which were fantastic. We also took home a sausage skewer and cookies for someone who couldn't join us, and they were delicious too. The portions were huge, fresh, hearty, and full of flavor. The staff was very friendly, making the experience even better.

Excellent service and a fantastic brunch menu featuring a variety of fun choices. I really appreciate the option to add any pancake or French toast flavor to the egg dishes. It was easy to create a sweet and hearty breakfast plate that let us sample a bit of everything.

Our all-time favorite breakfast spot! We often make a 30-minute drive on early Saturday or Sunday mornings just to enjoy breakfast here. The service, food, and atmosphere—all exceptional! Everything is prepared from scratch and full of flavor. Since COVID, they’ve added an outdoor dining area under a large tent, which we hope becomes a permanent feature since it’s usually where we prefer to sit. The servers are outstanding and incredibly efficient; there have been times when our food has arrived before our drinks! I've included pictures of our favorites from several visits. Our top pick is the South, followed closely by the Old Bay Bennie. Other dishes featured are Huevos Rancheros, the Florentine Breakfast Sandwich (one of my personal favorites), the Lobster Roll (another special), 6 Hour Hash, The Libby, and Chicken Waffles.

That was my first time the restaurant of Tank Libby. From the time I went in the door, hospitality was obvious. The place was spotless and the flavors from the kitchen helped pump my appetite! I had served the Smokey – smoked salmon, scalion Hollandaise, two veiled eggs and English muffin with potato oash and one side avocado. It was as my children would say, Slammin’ Our server Samantha was the best. I asked her to get one of the owners. I gave up (Joe aka “Libby” and told him I will definitely be back!!

This experience was exceptional! Every part was above par. I'm writing this as we are sitting here finishing our meal. The staff: They are intuitively attentive without being crowding, polite and inviting, and informed the sisters were amazing! The food: Quality exceptional, taste amazing, quantity filling, presentation spot on, clean, and symmetrical. The building... All's I can say is it's time for a larger place... That's a good thing, not a knock against the establishment. What we ate: cheese grits smooth and creamy, chicken soup consistent smooth symmetrical and congruent in it's contents honey essence was a great touch, Creamy Kenneth spinach mushrooms goat cheese well balanced and with a little tartness from the cheese, sourdough bread sliced thin toasted consistently and buttered too the edges. Coffee... Smooth and warming. The neighborhood that contains this establishment should be proud and support the efforts of the owners and staff of this establishment... It is clear they are putting forth a remarkable effort to provide a worthy experience for your heard earned dollars! We commend them for their food, presentation, and efforts!!
