While I prefer Primo's over Jersey Mike's or Wawa, I don't almost pay twice what the competition costs for the same product. I understand that raising prices for recent inflation, but there is no world in which a 9-inch hoagie, a small bag of chips, and a drink should cost over $20.
Another disappointing experience at Dresher. Costs increase and their attention to detail decreases. This is the second time that my order was wrong. The rollers melted dry and staple. An Audie no oregano with mayo ordered. Almost no Mayo, but loaded with oregano. had to throw salad, onion and tomatoes away to get rid of most oregano. Ordered on the phone and picked up in the store. $30 for 2 sandwiches, small bag with chips and lace. Why do we tap if they can make the sandwich after the order form? They weren't busy and short employees because of COVID isn't an excuse I took off.
I tried to give this place a second chance, but my experience was still disappointing. Ordered two Huagies, the Primo size Corned Beef and the Primo Augie, with roast beef and turkey. The bread was remarkably stable. It wasn't just crusty, it was hard and stale. The toppings were good and consistent with salad cheese Peepers onions and cucumbers. But for $15/a sandwich it would have had more meat. The amount of meat was miniscule. Also part of the order was wrong, I asked that the Russian dressing and Cole Slav be placed on the side and they totally forgot to put them in the pocket. For $30 for two sandwiches they must be exceptional. This place seems to have been in quality since the acquisition by new management. I'm so disappointed with the quality of food. Update: since my original review I tried Lee's Hoagie House in Abington and WOW! Waaaaaay better than this Primo location. Greater, fresher, more authentic Philly-style sandwiches and $2.00 more expensive. Ijs...
My worst experience. Never order the delivery from this place as they charge a ridiculous $30 flat delivery fee. I ordered 2 locusts and a small bag chips and ended with a $65 bill. If I had realized that, I would have picked it up myself or ordered the delivery by door lock for virtually free. And the woman who answered the phone was no help in explaining and offered no help for this experience.
This Primo's location sucks....employees are lackluster and they hardly put any meat on the hoagies...mostly bread and lettuce. If you want a proper hoagie go to the Primo's in Hatboro!
