A hotel had to be found for a very spontaneous journey to Dresden. For only one night, if possible centrally located, so that in the evening without a big trip a city hike was possible. In the big hotels there were no free rooms for one night, as I could see while walking through the city centre, probably for good reason. Full busloads of tourists were supervised, probably weekend visitors. Well, I stumbled over the Hotel Kipping at the Gogling. A small hotel, centrally located near the train station, but quietly located in a side street. On the photos I liked had a little tempted castle. I was lucky, I just got the last room. The hotel is located in an 1884 villa and is still a family-run house. The first impression when entering was not so overwhelming. It is located directly in the guest room, the reception is located at the footsteps of the restaurant. But the very friendly welcome quickly distracts from this impression. Until the room, and then I was very positively surprised again. Even the halls had a kind of domestic effect with their high walls and the old wooden doors. I liked the room.
