I proceeded to eat my own, I immediately tasted that it was old, ate a few more bites, looked at it, noticing the egg white of the egg, had green blackish spots all in it. I took it to the counter, asked the lady working there how old they were, she replied only 2 days, (that already is brutal), I asked her to come look at it, instead she turned around walked away. I will never ever go there again.
As an older couple, we like to treat ourselves to the occasional teen-burger and fries. It brings back memories, and to be honest, we enjoy A&W burgers. A&W in Drayton Valley used to be a great place to eat, socialize and hang-out. However, in recent years and with new ownerships, the restaurant has become a sterile environment with unappreciative customer service. As such, the restaurant is now virtually empty when we come, even during dinner hours. Frosted mugs are never offered nor provided as an eat-in courtesy. Getting a friendly greeting or thank-you from the till person rarely occurs. It's unfortunate, as A&W used to be a great place for both seniors and young people to socialize and enjoy a reasonably priced fast food meal.
Onion rings are horrible soft tasted like they were refried with no flavoring on them. Misunderstood the kids pack with no explanation just told I was wrong.
Worst coffee ever. Watered down dishwater. I have long, long been a fan of A&W coffee but this new stuff is gross.
We needed something solid in our tummy's before heading along on our trip, and so we stopped at this A&W. The place looks quite new, and is very clean. Our order came promptly, and it was what breakfast should be hardy and and tasty. The eggs looked extra large, and it's great to know they are healthier than the run of the mill egg you get elsewhere. We'd stop by again if we needed a quite bite!
