Empire Wok - Draper

Kung pao was breaded and fried. Entire dish was more like general tso chicken dish with peanuts on top. Hunan beef was also breaded and fried. Overall disappointed with food and service.

I ordered dinner via DoorDash this evening. Unfortunately after receiving my order and taking 3-4 bites from the Pork Lo Mein I removed a very sharp piece of razor like wire from my mouth- which definitely cut my mouth and tongue up a bit. Please look into this immediately. This was once one of my favorite monthly meals and now I’m terrified to order from here again.

I love Chinese food places with the word Wok on their sign. I ordered takeout of shrimp lo mein and sweet sour pork. Both came with roasted ham fried rice. I will definitely come back for more. Very deep menu.

How was my experience? I make it better at home with a cheap off brand bottle of sauce and steamed rice. I have used the bathroom 10 times the today (the day after) and counting! I was hoping to have a good Chinese takeout. Eat here if Metamucil doesn't work.

Friendly staff, good portions at reasonable price. Their food is always piping hot! Great Pon Pon chicken and ham fried rice has nice smoky flavor
