The Stone Kitchen - Drakenstein

We have been regulars for two years now, but I must say the last two visits were less than satisfactory. Maybe it was the timing, January 2nd, but it was definitely not the same experience. The food took ages to come and when it did, it was half its former portion. The avo was almost non existent as well as the bacon portion(on the wrap). Service was disappointing and lacklustre. All in all, I do not know if I will go back. Maybe because of past good experiences will make one more effort.

Had Sunday Lunch @Stone kitchen on 5th December. We had a 3 course set menu.Carmen accommodated us on such short notice. Response time for reservations fast and efficient. The Food was absolutely divine cooked to perfection. The Lamb Shank was so soft and delicious.Value for money, served warm and on time portion size perfect.To Carmen and team well done. Linda our waitress thank you for your hospitality and following instructions so well. The atmosphere and ambience was lovely. I requested a personalized dessert plate for our special guest and boy oh boy it was indeed a show stopper.May God bless your business Carmen and may The Stone Kitchen go from strength to strength. We often go there, especially on a Saturday, to parkrun, to breakfast

Bad service!!! we were brought to our table, then after 20 minutes we had only sandra, the waiter, come to us who never came back or checked on us. we wanted to order more drinks and eat, but because of their neglect we paid and left. I feel honest bad service, bad tip.
