Piccolo Trattoria- Doylestown

When I arrived at the restaurant that is in a shopping center, it seemed to be a regular pizzeria from the outside. I won't lie, I gave him my side eye. I went to a bar/pizzeria in front. it was lively, the bar had only a few places available. the main dining room is only in front and another room that is used as room for private functions. I was sitting in the main kitchen room that was quite empty. the waiter, andrew came by and began to serve immediately. he was brilliant and gave food recommendations. I ordered this Cannellini bean soup he suggested and it was phenomenal, the lobster ravioli sound and a glass reisling and my data had spaghetti and meatballs. overall it was a good time, I had rest and it was even tastier the next day.

Our dinner was fantastic. I typically frequent the Newtown location (BYOB but have found the food and service is stellar at both. Our waitress was extremely busy the night we were there but it was not reflected in the service she provided. I think her name was Alexis? The fig pie and kale and beet salad are my two constant favorites but everyone enjoyed their entrees from steak, to pizza, to pasta.

We took our daughter and niece out for an unscheduled outing and early dinner. The girls had Margarita and Brooklyn pizzas. My wife had the Gnocchi with Chicken and I had the Seared Chilean Sea Bass and side of Broccoli Rabe. Everything was delicious! Highly recommend!

Our server Sammy was excellent! Very knowledgeable about our food allergies and was super friendly!

Just went for a quiet early dinner with my wife. The food and service were superb — as usual.
