Coyote Creek Kitchen - DOWNIEVILLE

After a weekend exploring the backcountry, we dropped into Downieville looking for a meal, only to get skunked. A local told us to head a mile or so down the road to Coyote Creek Kitchen. We were happy to find them open, and not disappointed in this small, hole-in-the-wall cafe. The food and service were equally great. The Coyote Burger was amazing! Well worth the money.

Highly recommend! This place is the best and everything John makes is delicious, not from the area but would drive up to Downieville just to stop at his place. The buffalo wings, prawns and yakosoba are a definite favorite! Can’t wait to go back!

Yummy!! If you're looking for home cooked food served with a smile, this is the spot. Great selection of lunch items. We stopped in around 12 noon, and each ordered BLTs and also a shrimp salad. The fries were homemade!!! Super delicious. They do take out only.

This spot sure knows how to treat their clients. Always with a very welcoming approach. The food is conveniently priced, constantly fresh and neat.

The food is always well prepared and delightful, staff members hands out awesome customer service. I loved the cleanliness and mood. Will visit here again.
