What a delightful little pub. Very friendly, welcomed dog other users had children. Beautiful stained glass windows.

We didn't go into the pub, but we enjoyed our time by the river. It was a lovely hot day, and we even spotted some deer. There was a young man who watched them for at least an hour. We also encountered some friendly ducks and chatted with the equally friendly boat owners, who all seemed quite affluent and were enjoying their time on their boats during the heatwave. I can't help but feel a bit envious—I really want a boat! The football game was happening, but the pub was surprisingly empty.

The pub had a really warm and welcoming atmosphere, enhanced by the friendly staff who served us. The food was delicious, but the hospitality was even better. We brought our little dog along, and they enjoyed the environment too. The pool table, which was only 50p a game, entertained us for quite a while. We’ll definitely be coming back soon!

The staff were exceptionally friendly, creating a lovely family atmosphere. They even played cartoons on the television for the kids and allowed them to play, which was great. I had a delicious fried dinner and some fantastic apple crumble that tasted just like something my mother would make. Overall, it was a wonderful afternoon filled with delightful moments.
