I recently dined at this restaurant for the first time. The food we ordered was quite tasty. My partner had a large portion of chicken berry walnut salad, which was served on a plate with only a third of the portion, leaving the rest neatly on the serving plate. He finished what he could along with soup and garlic bread. The server then accidentally dropped the box containing the remaining salad on the floor, but quickly apologized and offered to have a new one made in the kitchen. However, when we opened the replacement salad at home, we discovered that it was placed in the same box that had fallen on the floor, with only a small amount of vegetables added and no replacement for the chicken or cranberry dressing. Although the service was good, the lack of food safety awareness was concerning. The management should prioritize training employees on food safety practices.

The sausage patties were delicious and the restaurant had a charming old-fashioned style. We only tried the eggs, but we enjoyed our dining experience.

VERY rude. First they brought us the wrong drink. Ok it's fine someone else took it anyway. Then they just never brought the drink. We asked about it after 15 minutes and they said sorry were out of coke. So we got another soda instead. They finally took our order after sitting for 20 minutes. Then it took another 40 minutes to get our food. The wait was one thing, they were busy, but the table next to us ordered a good half hour after us and got their food before us. Got no real apology. When we went in to pay and ask what was up. The cashier just stuck out her hand in a grabby motion for our card. No comps no, real apology, not even a free slice of pie for the 2 hours of waiting and sub par treatment.
