Lazy Dog Restaurant Bar - Downey

I’ve been visiting this restaurant for about a year, and each time has been a wonderful experience. The staff is consistently friendly and attentive. I started coming here to help train my dog to be more relaxed in public, and now he gets so excited every time we visit because he adores the dog meal! A quick note: when you bring a pup, you’ll need to sit outside, but with the nice LA weather, that's usually not an issue. I also prefer to come during less busy hours to avoid overwhelming distractions for my dog.

This is a fantastic spot to bring your furry friend! They offer a special menu just for pets. The clean, open-air patio is perfect for those with dogs. We ordered chicken with rice and veggies for our dog, Buster, and it was only $5. Plus, they have an excellent selection of beers and even a quarterly beer subscription!

First time I ordered from here the food was fresh and the battered fries were really good. I could've ordered them alone.I recently ordered from here and the wings were terrible there in my fridge to go to my dog smh. I'm not sure how they cooked them but they definitely need to be sent back.The fries were not battered fries either they were plain cut fries. I dislike to go to a place for the first time and product is good then you try it again and everything is different yet not good.I GUESS I WONT BE RETURNING !!!! Wish I could upload these photos

I really liked the concept of this restaurant, and the menu was quite intriguing. We started with the fried deviled eggs, but unfortunately, they weren't to our liking. They were too dry, and the thick, flavorless breading really needed a sauce or something to enhance them. I ordered the fried chicken, which was decent, but I recommend getting an extra side of syrup for dipping. The gravy, however, was not impressive at all. My partner had the Chicken Cordon Bleu with mashed potatoes instead of rice, but he wasn't really impressed given the price; it was just okay and not something he'd want to order again. Overall, this place seems to focus more on the atmosphere than the food. On a positive note, I appreciated that they offered some low-carb and keto options on the menu, which I usually prefer when I'm not on vacation!

Great place to grab a drink and get some good wholesome food. We went because they partner with local schools. My daughter got a free kids meal for being awesome. Also, they have really really good **** Mary's with bacon, cucumber, and olives. Highly recommended.Food: 5/5
