Sarpino's Pizzeria Downers Grove

I just want to say that this place is a lifesaver for me! I work overnight, so I'm really grateful that they're open late. The delivery driver, Chad, is fantastic! He always brings my food on time and it's still hot. He even gives great recommendations for new items to try, which I really appreciate since I have to stick to a specific diet. He's a great guy! I will definitely recommend this place to anyone!

Walked in for a simple 8inch pepperoni. I’m walks in 3 customers who get their large orders before mine. One ordered ahead and the rest ordered on site. After I finally asked for an update, the kid said oh that was you and went to talk to the rest. No onesaid what happen just that it will be another 6 minutes. . mistakes happen and all but it no one bother to make sure theirapologies came across. Bunch of kids just fn around

On the second night, we ordered two vegan vegetarian pizzas. One of them turned out to be a bit soggy in the middle, possibly due to either too many tomatoes or not being cooked long enough. It was still tasty, but that was a slight disappointment. The biggest change I would suggest is regarding the vegan cheese. I work at a restaurant supply warehouse, and we don’t even carry Daiya. Most pizza places opt for Follow Your Heart cheese, which is creamier, while Daiya tends to be more on the plasticky side. Though it was still enjoyable, I did feel a bit uneasy about the amount of oily, plasticky cheese on the deep dish pizza. On a positive note, the service was incredible! I experienced free delivery from some of the nicest drivers I've ever met, and the staff taking calls were very friendly as well. I'm truly grateful for their extensive vegan menu, which offers a variety of deep dish options, specialty pizzas, and meat alternatives. They’re open late and very affordable. Chicago is fortunate to have this chain!

This place was amazing! I have a dairy allergy, so I ordered the vegan pizza, and it was incredibly delicious. If I hadn’t known better, I wouldn't have guessed that it didn’t contain real cheese or meat.

We order from here nearly 3x/month and just got the worst pizza order ever. The crust is so thin, the sauce is bleeding through and there is half the cheese there normally is. The crust is halfway down to the middle of the pizza. And when I called tocomplain, I got a nicer gentleman on the phone and when he put his manager on Derek, he said I could bring the pizzas back atmidnight to their store for a full refund. Worst manager ever, worst customer service EVER. This guy should be fired. I havenever had such a rude interaction with a place. I will never be ordering from them again. That's about $150/month out of theowner's pocket. Great job hiring.
