Mi Hacienda - Downers Grove

This was very authentic. The refried beans were full of chunks of smashed beans instead of watery beans like I get in 95% of Mexican restaurants. Even my son commented that it's the 1st time in 2 years hes actually enjoyed eating them. The skirt steak was flavored perfectly. I will definitely go back again as my family and I enjoyed all of this additionally being that my husband is Mexican , he can truly appreciate the effort from the kitchen.

The food here is top-notch. It's evident that this restaurant takes pride in serving well-prepared, high-quality dishes. The waitress was very friendly, making for an overall enjoyable experience. The margarita was slightly on the sweeter side, but still delicious. I will definitely be coming back!

I visited Mi Hacienda after receiving a recommendation and was initially put off by its unassuming appearance—it doesn't catch the eye when you're driving by. However, the food is absolutely delicious! The house-made tequila is superb. I didn't give it a full five stars simply because I only had one meal there. I will definitely return, as there’s so much more on the menu that I’m eager to try.

I absolutely love the food at this restaurant! It's incredibly delicious and a delight for the taste buds. The service is excellent, the ambiance is wonderful, and the specialty cocktails are a must-try!
