Maxwells Beef - Downers Grove

I tried this place for the first time today. The hot dogs and fries are great, however the price is very high. $16 for two hot dogs and fries is not acceptable.

Fresh, made to order food. Great burgers, and beefs big enough to share! Fresh cut fries with skin on are the best! Go there hungry and you won't be disappointed!

If you want a place where they have the gyro, hot-dog, hamburger, pizza-puff (not the fancy ones.. the pizza puff you grew up on); this is it. This is a place you don 't take for granted. Why are you going to McDonalds when places like this exist? We got dinner here last night and I ended up going again for lunch today. We just moved to Lisle in the last few months and this is the first 'burger joint ' that has given me hope. Staff is exactly how you 'd expect.

My favorite place for a Maxwell style Polish with hand cut fries! John is the nicest guy ever!
